What was the highlight of Boutique Hotel XYM

Great location! Value for money room! Good for business and leisure stay!

The location was perfect for going to COEX (Retina conference) :~400mts and to catch a metro from samseong subway line no.2 - 50mts. Front desk was helpful in pointing us to foreign exchange and booking taxi as well. Room was nice and cozy with bathtub with heated floor and big tv.

Breakfast was same and limited (only non-veg). No heating temperature regulation. The entrance to locate is hard

Excellent location for SM TOWN

very pretty and stylish and also just 5 mins walk from metro station! I stayed here for a night to see Gangnam festival K-pop concert. It was very convenient!!

I would not return here.

Next to the subway and bus stops in Gangam.

The room is smaller than expected, even for single person. Definitely not suitable for two. The breakfast is a pitiful sandwich. Don't take this option.

Decent hotel, okay if you travel alone.

Decent hotel, okay if you travel alone. Good internet.

Staff speaks poor English, rooms are not very clean. The pictures of rooms look luxurious, but this is not the case. Room was quite small (and I had a deluxe one!). I was staying in my room few times until noon, and the room was not cleaned in this case: you need to specifically ask at the reception to clean the room, which is not very professional (imho). Breakfast bar opens quite late, at 8am during the week days, and at 9am on week-ends. Breakfast is always the same (although decent, imho). The entrance to the hotel is from a small street which was quite smelly sometimes (probably due to the ventilation pipe nearby), therefore not very romantic if you're a couple.

The room is small but very comfortable and clean.

The room is small but very comfortable and clean. All I needed was there, to make the stay enjoyable. It's right outside of a subway stop in the Gangnam area.

Breakfast was always the same: toast with ham and cheese and a cup of coffee. But, fine for a few days.

quite good with perfect location

The hotel location is just perfect, very close to metro station and to COEX. The reception staff is helpful and kind although they don't speak english. The room was on 6th floor with nice view, big TV, small fridge with water inside, electric kettle and good air condition. Coffe and water provided everyday. Breakfast consists of coffe and toast. The WI-FI connection was perfect.

Cleanliness was far from perfect. Lack of any wardrobe is very uncomfortable (instead there was a standing clothes hanger).

Overall is good.

I like this hotel because the location's good, it very near to subway and Coex (I have conference there). Room is very clean. Price is reasonable. Breakfast also good but I stay here 4 night but it has just one menu . So a little boring but it doesn't matter.

Nice Hotel with good location. Service and Breakfast can be improved.

The Room was good and the location was very good. Close to COEX for the Exhibition that i need to visit. Also some good Restaurants and Bars close by the Hotel

The breakfast was very poor. Just a coffee and some bread every morning. Went to different place to have a better one. When i arrived my room was not available and i got a room with 3 bed but i needed to change the next day which caused a lot of inconvenience to pack 2 times for 2 night stay and when i arrived the other day, they did not know anything about it and i needed to talk to them longer to get a new room key.

Funky, cool, contemporary place with just a few quirks: staying there again!

Great decor, really fun, cool-looking place. Looks brand-new, to be honest. Huge (but too firm) bed. The rooms on the 6th floor (Amusingly named, floor "X") are small, but extremely modern. Shower is awesome. Huge coverage, it's like standing in the most wonderful warm rain. Best shower I've ever had in my year in Korea. I'll come back for that shower. Great toiletries. Almost everything provided and then some...free razor, women's stuff, lotions, skin toner, even condoms. But just one tiny bar of soap? Please include one more bar and a soap dish next to the sink. Lovely, huge balcony! I wish it wasn't around freezing when I went (December), I would have sat outside. Great coffee shop attached to the place. The free breakfast was a coffee and a hot ham-and-cheese sandwhich. (Err..."croque" something? Looked really fancy. Was tasty too.) Good breakfast, , but a little small. Guess I'm used to the big American breakfast buffet at Hilton Garden Inn. Location is right next to the COEX convention center. Door is a little hard to find, and doesn't look like a door. The whole place has a really funky & contemporary look. Friendly staff, but difficult to communicate with. They tried their best. Would stay here again.

The heating system was...a little too good! I could barely sleep because it was so warm. Unfortunately, there are no in-room controls for the HVAC! I had to call down to the front desk. I had to open the door to let some freezing air in. The bed is very firm! I didn't much care for it, to be honest. Because of the excess heat and firm bed, didn't get much sleep the first night. Night two was better. The bathroom was awesome...except the drain was a little slow. Since this is an asian-style bathroom, the shower stall and toilet share the same floor. So if you shower, there is water on the floor where the toilet is. Since the drain was slow, there must have been 2 inches of standing water. I don't mind since I'm used to it (I live in Korea) but it's a little much for westerners. Maybe make the drain act faster so the water doesn't collect? Staff members' English was pretty rough...then again I came late at night (around 10:30 on the KTX). Had trouble understanding them. Still, I'd stay there again.

Almost all. The staff, they were ready to help in any way possible any time I needed. The location was very good, public transportation is almost at the hotel door. My bedroom was spacious and had all I need including a computer, outlet converter and other electronic gadgets. the room overview to a green area which is nice in a city like Seoul.

To many doors within the room and in the bathroom. Between the bedroom and bathroom there is a drop on the floor level and it is very easy to trip on it..I did a few times although after a few days I got used to all of that. Breakfast is served on the coffee shop on the first floor which is very convenient but I wish they had at least to or three different choices. I was there for a long stay and it was the same every day!!!
